THE BLACK WATER SEBANGAU NATIONAL PARK

Meeting point at Kereng Bangkirai Pier to begin our cruise to Sebangau National Park. The first destination we visit is the Peat Canal Trekking Line. At this location we will explore the Sebangau forest through a specially prepared route. In this place we can learn about the types of plants starting from the Ramin tree which is the mainstay of Central Kalimantan’s forest products to making artificial dams / dams to prevent fires. The next destination is the Koran River where we can enjoy clear Black Water from the release of water in the peat. While studying nature, we can also swim in the river by using a life jacket and seeing traditional fishing. Lunch will be prepared at the Sungai Koran Gazebo and after it is finished, we will return to Kereng Bangkirei Pier.
